MONBULK Aquatic Centre will celebrate National Families Week this Saturday, 19 May, with a range of fun activities for kids and parents alike.
For the normal price of admission, families will be invited to take part in an array of races and games including inflatable action, a jumping castle, a swimming display by the club and a sausage sizzle.
Families will also be encouraged to get active together in a fitness session designed to accommodate young and old.
The Monbulk activities are part of a statewide YMCA initiative to get the entire family going during National Families Week (13-19 May).
YMCA’s Bronwyn Commandeur said: “The YMCA is committed to strengthening family relationships through offering programs, support and opportunities to participate and connect together.
“We don’t just make families a focus during Families Week, our regular family-friendly programs and facilities include aquatic education, teen gym, older adult gym classes and children’s parties.”
Families taking part in the activities at Monbulk Aquatic Centre can also register to go in the draw to win a family Taste of Space weekend at Anglesea Recreation Camp later this year.
The fun on Saturday will kick off at 1pm and finish at 3pm.
Monbulk Aquatic Centre is on Baynes Park Road, Monbulk, and can be contacted on 9756 6227.
