Upgrade study offers a fresh start

IT’S NOT too late to make a start back at school.
For those who need a year 12 pass in English to begin a TAFE or university course or to improve their career prospects, Mountain District Learning Centre (MDLC) can help.
Mountain District Learning Centre offers VCE and VCAL to those wishing to return to study or upgrade their skills in a range of areas.
VCE subjects offered at Units 1 and 2 (year 11) are foundation English, general maths and studio arts.
Units 3 and 4 (year 12) subjects are accounting, English and health and human development.
For those who work but would like to study at night, the centre offers literature and philosophy Units 3 and 4.
VCAL is being offered to intermediate level (Year 11).
This includes classes in personal development, work related skills, and provides opportunities to gain certificates in industry specific areas.
Those who require a year 10 general certificate of education can also achieve this in an adult setting and in small classes.
Tutors are dedicated and experienced and provide very positive learning outcomes for those who are setting new educational goals.
MDLC is at 13-15 The Avenue, Ferntree Gully. For inquiries ring Karen Crawford at MDLC on 9758 7859.
