A GROUP of hills artists from the Sherbrooke Art Society are putting the final brush strokes on their paintings for their upcoming exhibition.
The exhibition which has been inspired by the surrounding environment of the Dandenong Ranges will open on Sunday, 26 November at the Burrinja Gallery in Upwey.
The 11 artists who have been painting together for many years are known as the Steel Magnolias and this will be the first time they have exhibited their work together.
They have not only formed firm friendships but have encouraged one another along the way with the help of their teacher and fellow exhibitor Glenda Wise.
Ms Wise is a well known teacher who has taught many artist who have sold their work worldwide.
The exhibition will open on Sunday, 26 November and run for a week until Monday, 4 December.
