Pack the wine for home moving

BUYING a home is one of the most significant investments someone will make in their lives and the local Community Bank wants to help you celebrate that fact.
Every new home owner taking out a loan with the local Community Bank branches in Upwey, Belgrave and Cockatoo/Gembrook will receive a Domaine Chandon wine pack, courtesy of their local branch manager.
Group senior manager Mike Fleming said it was too easy to simply sign the paperwork and send a home loan customer on their way.
“I have often thought how nice it would be to recognise the importance of the purchase of a home by our customers,” he said.
“First home owners in particular come into the branch and are so excited to sign on the dotted line that it is nice to mark the occasion with a gift from their Community Bank branch.
“The signing of a home loan is the beginning of a long relationship with these customers and our Community Bank branch.”
Mr Fleming said despite recent interest rate changes, lending was still strong in the district.
“Spring is traditionally the busiest time of the year for home purchases and I suspect that there will be many, many bottles of wine leaving our three branches with happy Community Bank customers in coming months,” he said.
