Friends booked in for sale

FINDING that perfect book to curl up with on a cold winter’s day is just around the corner.
The Friends of Emerald Library is hosting a Giant Book Sale on Saturday, 14 April at the town hall in Main Road.
The book sale will run from 9am to 1pm and will offer hills bookworms an opportunity to hunt for that crime or romance novel they’ve been looking for.
There will be a great range of ex-library magazines and books including fiction and non-fiction for sale.
Entry to the sale is a gold coin donation and sales are cash only.
