ESTABLISHED for more than a quarter of a century, JL Automatics in Emerald is one of the town’s oldest and most trusted businesses.
Proprietor and manager John Ligtermoet set up the business in the early 1980s to cater for the needs of local drivers and their vehicles and since then has built up an impressive range of services.
“JL Automatics is a one-stop repair and service shop,” Mr Ligtermoet said.
“We keep up with the changing nature of mechanics and vehicles and are updating the services and equipment at the workshop all the time.”
JL Automatics specialises in automatic and manual gearbox repairs, power steering repairs, EFi diagnosis and injector cleaning as well as brake, steering and suspension repairs.
The workshop also carries out general service, tuning and roadworthy testing and is equipped to carry out service and repairs on air-conditioning, including re-gas, for all types of vehicles.
“We take care of all makes and models and all our work is fully guaranteed,” Mr Ligtermoet said.
A first-rate team backs up JL Automatics’ services. Mechanic Rob Prince has worked with Mr Ligtermoet for more than 20 years and Kyle Simpson is completing his apprenticeship.
JL Automatics is located on Heroes Avenue, Emerald, and is open from 8.30am to 6pm Monday to Friday and by appointment on Saturday.
