A CATHOLIC education encourages every child to fully develop their individual qualities and to build upon their strengths and capabilities.
In partnership with parents, staff at St Thomas More Primary School in Belgrave aim to provide skills to enable students to be life-long learners and to develop self-confidence, integrity and honesty.
They endeavour to adapt to each student’s different learning styles and multi intelligences and emphasise literacy and numeracy.
They also provide a strong music program which includes students performing in bands and choirs.
In addition staff give individual instrument tuition and many opportunities for performance.
Physical education, including swimming, interschool sport, major sports clinics and camps are provided as part of the curriculum.
Staff also encourage leadership through peer support, buddy programs, student captains and student representative councils.
Parents are welcome to visit the school’s vibrant and well resourced classrooms and library and to “meet our caring and our happy and engaged students learning in a small nurturing community”.
To arrange a visit or to find out more about St Thomas More Primary School contact the school on 9754 4444.
