Monthly school market

OLINDA Primary School held the first of a series of monthly cafe-markets last week showcasing local and homemade produce and larder.
The markets are an opportunity to bring parents, children and friends together to purchase and eat homemade goods and family produce.
This is also part of the school’s recruitment drive for more enrolments, which coincides with its centennial year.
The market gives the school the opportunity to invite local residents to come along and view the school while enjoying the atmosphere of the market.
School council president Heather Herbert said the Olinda Primary School was an integral part of the local community and was determined to stay that way for the next 100 years.
To find out more about enrolments, call the school on 9751 1181.
