RANGES Carpet Care continues to grow, mainly on the strength of customer recommendations.
It is now in its 13th year.
“Some may consider this unlucky, but that’s only because they have not experienced my service,” said Ranges Carpet Care owner operator Tony Fairbridge.
Ranges Carpet Care offers prompt and professional cleaning of carpets and rugs, and also car and caravan interiors.
Are you taking the van away for the holidays?
“I can make it a much more pleasant place to spend your leisure, and I can do the same with your boat,” said Tony.
“Do you want the house looking its best for the festive season? Give me a call, and remember, I’m also very good at cleaning up the mess after the party.”
Some people consider that carpet cleaning is an unnecessary indulgence, not realising what an effective process it is.
The enemy of a carpet is grit, and the best vacuum cleaner will not remove it from the bottom of the carpet pile. It dulls the carpet, and damages the fibres every time the carpet is disturbed.
For anybody who lives on a dirt road, this is a neverending battle. Solid fuel stoves also account for a lot of carpet soiling. Smoke contains tiny particles of sticky resinous creosote from the burning process. Most of this becomes the deposit in the chimney, but the rest goes into the surrounding carpet. Vacuum cleaning will not remove this, but steam cleaning will.
People are sometimes tempted to clean their carpets themselves, using wet vacs or supermarket hire machines.
“This can work, but in most cases it doesn’t,” said Tony.
“These machines can put a great deal of water and unnecessary chemicals into your carpets, but lack the power to properly remove them.
“My service gives vastly superior water removal, with the job done in a much shorter time and to a much higher standard.
“I use biodegradable cleaning products, mainly based on citrus and lavender. I find these give superb results while being userfriendly to children, pets and those suffering from asthma.
“I am myself an asthmatic, and you can be sure that I will not use any products that make me feel uncomfortable.”
Using the services of a professional makes good economic sense, because there will rarely be a situation that they have not already come across and dealt with.
The professional has a lot more resources available to them for dealing with those stubborn marks, and also you have the satisfaction of dealing with somebody who stands behind their work.
“My service is local, and my customers come from where I live,” said Tony.
“My business stands or falls on customer satisfaction. I have to get it right.”
