Owner Janine Meakes said that Equus started as a local business and now supplied clients interstate and overseas.
“Made-to-measure rugs for that awkward-to-fit size is a specialty of Equus Rugs,” she said.
“We only use quality fittings and fabrics.
“Compromise on quality is something that is definitely not in our charter.
Janine also said that the range of products was constantly expanding to accommodate clients’ needs.
“If we don’t already stock what you require, just ask and we will endeavour to source it for you,” she said.
As well as sponsoring many Pony Club and Adult Riding Club events, Equus Rugs has been a major sponsor of The Saddleworld Dressage Festival at Werribee.
“This sponsorship has led to a wide-reaching demand for Equus Rugs,” Janine said.
“This in turn has allowed us to sponsor a number of up-and-coming young riders and also instructors and Grand Prix riders.
“With this year marking 10 years in business, we are embarking on some new and exciting ventures incorporating Balmoral Equestrian Centre. So watch this space.”
