FLOWER arrangements for every occasion from weddings, births, sympathy and corporate work create an eye-catching display at Emerald shop, Twisted Ivy.
The only florist in the area, Twisted Ivy is more than just a business; it is a dream come true for proprietor Deanne Kent who started helping a friend who had opened a florist shop near Knox and fell in love with floristry.
Deanne then completed a diploma in floral design and the rest is history.
At her Emerald shop, Deanne has introduced a new, fresh approach to floristry with modern and bright displays.
Giftware, teddies, plants, cards and vases add to the ambience of the shop where friendly service and a warm welcome greet all customers.
Deanne maintains the importance of shopping locally.
“Emerald, as well as being a tourist destination, is also a thriving community,” she said.
“I strongly believe in keeping locals in business by buying locally.
“This has been a big step for me and my family and without their support I could not have ever imagined owning my own business.”
Call in and say ‘hi’ to Deanne at Twisted Ivy, 375 Belgrave Emerald Road, Emerald.
The shop is open 9am-6.30pm Monday to Thursday, 10am-4.30pm Wednesday, 9am-6.30pm Thursday and Friday and 10am-6.30pm Saturday.
