Visitors to the Macclesfield Trout Farm have a fishy experience. They rave about their visits. The farm has been in operation for nearly 50 years.
Facilities include barbecue and picnic areas, a small play ground and a kiosk stocking drinks, ice creams, nibbles and some cooking essentials.
Fishing options cater for all needs — the ponds where you are guaranteed to catch plate size or large rainbow trout, a lake for a more leisurely (or challenging!) experience, and a fly-fishing area for the true devotees.
The trout farm is located at 26 Mulhalls Road, Macclesfield, and is open every day from 10am-5pm (except Christmas Day).
