PAESANO Restaurant specialises in fine Italian cuisine, delivering good quality food at affordable prices.
The thriving restaurant was established in 2002 in the Knox Ozone and quickly became a regular meeting place for many people.
It is part of a family of restaurants that includes Michelangelo’s in Burwood and Ecco Qui in Frankston. The name Paesano means neighbourhood friend.
In conjunction with the two other signature restaurants, Paesano is launching a fantastic new menu with a focus on home-style (casalinga) cooking and family style casual dining.
The restaurant’s signature gnocchi is made from a family recipe dating back more than 100 years.
The homemade gnocchi features in four different meals on Paesano’s new and extensive menu, including gnocchi pollo funghi which features a creamy chicken and mushroom sauce and is a ‘must have’ for gnocchi fans.
A recent innovation is the introduction of the stonegrill, where meals are cooked and served on stone. This exciting concept, exclusive to Paesano in the Knox area, delivers healthy, flavoursome meat, chicken and fish with beautiful flavours and food aromas.
Dishes include tiger prawns and scallops served with avocado salad, and chicken with capsicum and potatoes.
Rounding out the stonegrill range are premium grain-fed eye fillet beef cooked to perfection, and Moreton bay bugs served on stone, with avocado and tossed in olive oil and balsamic glaze.
Paesano Restaurant is located at Shop 2218 Town Walk, opposite the Village Cinemas in Knox Ozone, Wantirna.
For cinema goers, the restaurant offers a great movie and meal deal from Sunday to Thursday.
Opening hours are 11.30am to 10.30pm Sunday to Thursday, and 11.30am to midnight on Friday and Saturday.
