WITH the hopes of their nations resting on their shoulders, Kallista’s youngest Olympians took to the XXIX Olympiad last Thursday.
As Australia’s real Olympians took centre stage in Beijing, Kallista’s rising stars had their very own mini-Games.
The students adopted a number of countries, ranging from India to the Ukraine, Guyana, Mauritius, Syria and Italy.
Following a moving opening ceremony, the students went head to head in a battle of the fittest.
They flew their countries’ flags as they competed in a range of exciting activities from archery to basketball.
