IT’S time to nominate that special someone for the 2009 Cardinia Australia Day Awards.
Hills residents can nominate those in their community who go far and beyond the call of duty.
Categories include Citizen of the Year, Senior of the Year, Young Citizen of the Year, and Community Event of the Year.
A new award in 2009 also calls for nominations for people who don’t live in the shire but have made significant contributions to the community.
Nominations are open until Friday 14 November and can be made by downloading an application form from www.cardinia.vic.gov.au.
