MONBULK College has done it again – it has produced some of the State’s best upcoming volleyballers.
Rising stars Alison Woutten, Michelle Galloway and Matt Tinners recently took home individual Most Valuable Player gongs from the State Championships.
Galloway also led the Under 16 girls team to bronze, while Tinners also helped the Under 17 boys to bronze.
Woutten proved strong in her first season, leading the Under 14 division one to a silver medal.
Both Galloway and Tinners have also played for Victoria and were thrilled to be named the best in the state for their age group.
“I played against a lot of the girls from my Victorian team and it was fantastic to be named MVP above them,” Galloway said.
All three are dreaming of an international volleyball career.
Galloway and Tinners said their goal now was to work towards gaining an American scholarship to play university volleyball.
But for now they are content with taking out the best-of-the-best title.
