A ballet of beauty

PEOPLE who are contemplating joining a ballet class need to know that it’s never too late to experience the fun and enjoyment of discovering balance and movement, according to Lin Jewell at Lin Jewell’s School of Ballet in Upwey.
“The ballet school may be just the place to “bring out the inner you”, by gaining the confidence, self-esteem and posture that just needed a bit of encouragement,” she said.
“Ballet gives students from tiny tots to mature adults the ability to express and explore their capabilities and creativity in a gentle, enjoyable way.
“At Lin Jewell’s School of Ballet, classes are small groups allowing for individual care.
“Tiny tots have fun classes which gradually develop into teaching the classical technique.

Lin Jewell’s School of Ballet offers examination level classes to students when certain standards have been achieved.
The school also prepares students for the BMMAD syllabus, which is affiliated with the AICD (Australian Institute of Classical Dance).
