AS the buzz of the Australian Open draws near, Hills kids are being urged to pick up a racquet and step on to the court. Stuart Sutterby of Extreme Tennis is offering kids the chance to get on the court and experience the game.
Sutterby will conduct an Australian Open junior clinic in Ferny Creek next week. The three-day course will include all aspects of tennis, from technique to physical training and fun and games.
“It’s about getting kids out on court and active, rather than the competition,” Sutterby said. “The Australia Open is a good time to inspire kids to get involved in tennis or sport.”
The clinic is available to all Hills children aged from four to 16 and will be held from Monday to Wednesday at Ferny Creek Reserve. To find out more about the clinic, phone Sutterby on 9759 6475.
