COCKATOO residents will soon have their say on a plan to strengthen ties with young people in the community.
This follows a $29,500 State Government grant to develop a strategy to reconnect with young people.
The plan will look at issues in the town with an emphasis on youths, who make up more than 25 per cent of the population.
Cardinia Shire Council will work along side the township committee, Southern Health, Police, CFA, community groups and local schools.
