FUTURE Broadway stars can get a taste of the big time in free weekly workshops at Knox Community Arts Centre.
Knox residents aged between 14 and 25 are invited to head behind the scenes for an insight into the performance world.
Knox Community Arts Centre Coordinator Richard Mitchell said the program was ideal for actors, dancers and musicians.
“It will show them exactly how all the elements of stage performance come together to dazzle audiences,” he said.
The Knox Council and State Government initiative will cover lighting, sound equipment, speakers and microphones.
Workshops will run until Monday 1 June, excluding school and public holidays, from 4pm to 10pm.
Knox Community Arts Centre is located on the corner of Mountain Highway and Scoresby Road in Bayswater.
