MONBULK police recently cut-short two graffiti vandals’ trip to Melbourne.
The 18 and 19 year olds from Queensland were caught red handed earlier this month, defacing three carriages at Belgrave train station.
Police were tipped off following a call from concerned residents on Wednesday 7 April.
Leading Senior Constable Peter Edyvane said the pair where remanded in custody before appearing before the Ringwood Magistrates’ Court.
He said they had travelled to Melbourne to graffiti the trains.
Ldg Sen Const Edyvane said the two also had several graffiti ‘tags’ all over Queensland.
They received a 12 month good behaviour bond and where ordered to return home.
