A FERNY Creek man is in a stable condition in hospital after falling four metres from a roof.
Paramedic Matthew Dwonczyk was called to the scene about 9am yesterday (Monday).
He said one of the 45-year-old’s workmates heard him fall and found him lying on his back.
“It’s believed he landed on his left side and may have broken his elbow,” he said.
“He also suffered a fractured pelvis, fractured wrist, had a cut to his face and some back pain. “
Mr Dwonczyk fitted the man with a neck brace and used a spine board to carry him to a stretcher, administered pain relief and fluids.
‘He was then taken to The Alfred hospital in a stable condition.
