THE Dingoes will take centre stage at the Hallam Hotel next week on 3 August with some old and new tunes.
The band rejoined last year after being inducted in the ARIA Awards Hall of Fame in August.
John Bois on bass guitar, along with Christ Stockley and Kerryn Tolhurt also on guitar with vocalist Broderick Smith joined together on stage at the awards for the first time in 30 years.
Following the awards ceremony, the passion to play together was reignited and the quartet gathered at Ms Tolhurt’s studio in Tucson, Arizona.
They have now reformed the Dingoes, releasing a new album titled, Tracks, featuring 10 new songs.
They will perform some of their old favourites along with some of the new ones.
The Dingoes will take centre state at the Hallam Hotel, corner of Princes Highway and Hallam Road, from 9.15pm with a support act kicking off this night of entertainment from 8.30pm.
Those wanting to make a night of it can also enjoy dinner from 5.30pm. Tickets are now on sale and cost $27 for pre-show sales or $30 from the door.
Golden Guitar winner Sara Storer will also perform at the Hallam Hotel on 4 August. The country theme will continue later in the month with the Taste of Tamworth show on Tuesday 17 August.
Carter and Carter and Dianne Corcoran will team up with Lianna Rose for this night of country boot scooting. Tickets for the shows are now on sale by calling 8786 0200.
