MOUNT Evelyn Toy Library recently gave local youngsters a taste of the fun on offer from its community toy chest.
Its inaugural open day at Mount Evelyn Town Hall on 31 July showed off the range of high quality exciting and educations toys available for loan to hills parents.
The not-for-profit toy library has been running for more than 30 years and promotes the importance of play in human development and encourages positive adult-child interactions. Parents pay an annual membership and can borrow up to six toys for a fortnight. The toy library is open from 9.30am to 11am every second Monday, 6.30pm to 7.30pm each Thursday and 9.30am to 11am Saturdays at Mount Evelyn Public Hall, 44 Birmingham Road, Mount Evelyn.
