PHILLIP Island Nature Parks are inviting visitors to say ‘hola’ to Dora the Explorer.
From 20-26 September, Dora and her Aussie wildlife friends will be meeting and greeting children at Churchill Island Heritage Farm on Phillip Island from 11am to 2pm.
Each jam-packed day will feature hands-on farming activities, wagon rides, baby farm animal visits and taking in the stunning views of Western Port.
“Churchill Island Heritage Farm really is the perfect place to start your school holiday island adventure,” a spokesman said.
The meet-and-greet with Dora is free with a 3 Parks Pass. The pass allows visitors to explore Phillip Island and includes entry into Churchill Island, the Koala Conservation Centre and the Penguin Parade.
Phillip Island Nature Parks’ school holiday island adventure includes whip cracking, boomerang throwing and a free discovery map as well as entry to see the Koalas and Penguins and hands-on farming activities.
Entry to the renowned Nobbies Centre is also available free of charge.
Visitors to the centre can explore breathtaking coastal boardwalks, learn about the unique marine wildlife in the Southern Ocean and spy on Australian fur seals using special cameras.
Churchill Island Heritage Farm is accessible by a free, all-vehicle bridge from Phillip Island – just 90 minutes from the Melbourne CBD. Free car parking is available on-site.
Prices for the 3 Parks Pass start at $18 for children. Adult entry costs $36 while pensioners will pay just $25.20. A family of two adults and two children can gain entry for $90.
