BELGRAVE’S outdoor heated pool will provide a perfect, relaxing escape for hills residents during spring and coming summer.
The pool, surrounded by a grassy, treed area, has both lap lanes and free swimming areas.
The accompanying toddler pool provides a safe, monitored environment for youngsters to splash about in.
A fully stocked canteen with a variety of ice creams, hot food and cold drinks awaits the swimmers after their swimming sessions.
Manager Aylie Spence said the swim centre had “heaps of exciting things planned for this summer”.
A six-week Saturday morning Swim and Survive program begins on 6 November and provides an ideal preparation and water safety focus for the summer holidays.
A giant Schools Out pool party begins on 17 December. It will provide a chance for students to let their hair down and relax after another gruelling school year. A second Swim and Survive program will then run over two weeks in January, during the peak of the summer swim season.
It will be followed by another pool party on 20 January, with swimmers of all ages welcome to enjoy the festivities.
Ms Spence has welcomed those “looking for the best value this summer” to purchase a Family Season Pass, which works out at less than $1.40 per day for a family’s entire summer of fun.
The pool opened on 4 October and its current opening hours are from 6am to 9am and 4pm to 7.30pm.
