It’s no slip of the tongue

EMERALD’S Gemco Players will this month present a production based on the AFI award-winning film Lantana.
Andrew Bovell’s Speaking in Tongues tells the story of two couples torn apart by betrayal, a woman’s mysterious disappearance, and powerful bonds formed between perfect strangers.
The production will be directed by Sharon Maine and features actors Dan Bellis, Victoria Bonte, Jen Melford and Che Timmins in starring roles.
Speaking in Tongues won an Australian Writers Guild AWGIE award for best play before its Lantana transformation.
The production will run for two weekends from 11 November. Tickets are $22 for adults and $20 for concessions.
Light supper is included and refreshments will be available at bar prices.
Arrive by 7.45pm for an 8pm start.
