EMERALD Fruit Barn is more than just a fruit shop.
The Kilvington Drive store stocks a feast for customers looking for the best fresh produce for that perfect summer meal.
Owners Aldo and Rosanne Virgona have been offering the best locally grown seasonal fruit and vegetables for the past two and a half years.
The pair have a combined industry experience of more than 10 years.
“Both my wife and I have fruit in our blood as both sides of our family are in the industry,” Aldo said.
The fruit barn also has a wide range of eggs, frozen berries, fresh pasta, herbs and gourmet cheeses.
It has exotic lines and several nut, spices and chutney varieties. Customers can also buy continental groceries and flowers.
The fruit barn currently has a delicious range of locally grown strawberries and raspberries, which will make the perfect snack or dessert this summer.
It has an extensive range of summer fruits and berries and all the ingredients for that summer salad and stock Sungold milk, cream and butter.
The fruit barn prides itself on quality produce and service to valued customers, both new and old.
Aldo said people chose the fruit barn for product knowledge, an extensive range of fruit and vegetables, fresh quality and top notch service.
They were also named the 2010 Winner of the Victorian Mushroom Retailler Award.
The Virgonas extended season’s greetings to all their valued customers.
“Thank you for your support and continued custom and merry Christmas and happy new year to you all,” they said.
