CFA crews descended on Mount Evelyn’s Pembroke Secondary College staging area last month to prepare for the fire season ahead.
Mount Evelyn, Lilydale, Coldstream, Wonga Park and South Warrandyte crews participated in the Maroondah Group joint exercise, which included practice at tackling grass fires and gathering water.
