SCHOOL play areas and car parks affected by construction works at Victorian government schools may be rebuilt and restored.
The State Government announced it would provide up to $5 million to reinstate playgrounds, hard courts and car parks removed or demolished as part of the Building the Education Revolution (BER) construction works.
South Eastern Metropolitan Region MP Inga Peulich welcomed the announcement.
“The government has listened to schools and the community and we are taking the necessary steps to reinstate these facilities,” she said.
