ALMOST $1000 was raised as students wore their hair in wacky and wild styles during the recent Crazy Hair Day at Strathaird Primary School.
Donations from students and their families for the event will help Cystic Fibrosis Victoria (CFV) provide necessary services and support programs for individuals and families living with the debilitating disease.
Strathaird Primary School JSC co-ordinator Steven Parks said the school community raised $983.25 which will be sent to CFV.
“Fingers crossed we make the top five schools list again and receive some fabulous prizes for our school,” Mr Parks said.
“Many thanks to everyone who made an effort and participated. It was such a fun day. The children and staff always enjoy this humorous annual occasion.”
Ms Parks said Strathaird’s School Council would like to congratulate Thorpe Blue House which raised $239.35 for the event.
