MANY Narre Warren South residents were left high and dry for several hours on Tuesday night, after a water main burst on Baringa Park Drive.
South East Water responded to the burst water main and leaking mains valve after being alerted by a Casey resident about 11.10am.
Another leaking valve was reported about 3.20pm.
The water main was turned off around 6pm and was restored around 11.30pm, after repair.
South East Water made water available to customers from a tap on a hydrant while the problem was resolved.
