MOTORISTS are encouraged to remove valuable items from display after a string of thefts in Cranbourne North earlier this month.
Thieves gained entry into vehicles by smashing their side windows.
The thefts occurred mainly at Merinda Park train station between 7am and 7pm and items including GPS units and car registration plates were stolen.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
