Seizures from raid

By Emma Sun
GUNS, drugs and vehicles were among $100,000 worth of stolen goods seized by Dandenong police in Casey and Greater Dandenong following a five-month operation.
Police executed eight search warrants through Operation Poulard on Monday night and Tuesday morning and also recovered computer equipment, tools, and motorbikes.
Six people have been arrested, including a 22-year-old Endeavour Hills woman, a 37-year-old Doveton man, a 31-year-old man from Keysborough and a 24-year-old man and 31-year-old man from Dandenong.
A 23-year-old Dandenong man was charged with 35 counts of burglary, 29 thefts, four car thefts and three attempted burglaries.
He was remanded in custody with other charges still pending and will appear before the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 15 September.
The others were charged with a range of offences including burglary, theft and handling of stolen goods.
Detective Senior Constable Tony Meyers of the Dandenong CIU said the arrests are a very positive result of the operation.
“This is a direct result of putting resources against burglaries in the area,” he said.
“We will continue to target offenders.”
