POLICE are investigating two suspicious fires that were lit in Cranbourne last week.
About 4pm on 9 September, a fire was lit on the corner of Hotham Street and Camms Road, and another on the corner of Hotham and Bowen streets. The CFA attended both fires.
Police said witnesses saw a youth riding a bicycle past the corner of Hotham and Bowen streets at the time of the fire. He was described as being about 11 years old, skinny and was wearing a white T-shirt.
Another youth was also seen walking from the area towards the South Gippsland Highway.
He was described as being about 16 years old, skinny, with a grey hoodie. Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or the Narre Warren police station on 9705 3111.
