AN 18-year-old P-plate driver has had his car impounded after he was nabbed doing nearly 80km/h over the speed limit near Menzies Creek.
Pakenham police caught the driver in his Holden Commodore on Sunday at 8.30pm.
The red P-plate driver, from Ferntree Gully, was one month off having his green P-plates.
His car has been impounded for 30 days.
He was caught driving 157km/h in an 80km/h zone on Wellington Road going south between Clematis and Menzies Creek.
