THE Olinda Recreation Reserve will receive $200,000 from Yarra Ranges Council as part of the capital works projects in this year’s draft budget.
The money, along with $815,000 that will be available next year, will go towards the construction of a new two storey pavilion.

Among those, the Monbulk Aquatic Centre will receive about $1.74 million towards its upgrades, which are due to be completed April next year.
The Keith Hume Fraser Reserve in Montrose will receive about $685,000 towards various works, including upgrades to the pavilion, refurbishment of both soccer pitches and refurbishments to the number one and two ovals and Monbulk’s soccer facility will receive $720,000 towards upgrades.
Just over $680,000 will go towards stage two of the Hills Pedestrian Link in Kalorama on Mt Dandenong Tourist Road.
Drainage improvements worth about $121,000 has been allocated to assist Junction Road in Mount Evelyn and $140,000 will go towards a trail at Birdsland Reserve.
