MUSICIAN Liz Frencham will take people on a journey through a luminous emotional landscape as she embraces her double bass like a lover.
Those who listen to her music will be reassured by her warm, generous voice and a smile that has become her trademark.
Liz has become an audience favourite on the music festival circuit whether performing alone or with the likes of Sydney band Jigzag, award winning songwriter Fred Smith, Melbourne’s first all-girl Old Timey outfit Dev’lish Mary, iconic vaudeville showman Mic Conway or 2008 National Flat pick guitar champion Robbie Long.
There is something undeniably sensual about the way her double bass and body become indistinguishable in full flight.
Add to this how the velvety warmth of her vocals linger like a nice merlot and it’s not hard to understand her universal appeal.
Liz will perform at Ranges Concert Lounge at Burrinja Café in Upwey from 8pm on Friday 28 June.
Jess Nabb is the special guest for the evening.
Entry is $15 for adults and free for children under 12.
Dinner, coffee, snacks and bar service available.
