Monbulk Rangers v Boroondara
On Sunday the Monbulk Rangers girls travelled to Knox to take on the Boroondara Ladies.
This game saw first on the ladder play second, with the winner of this game winning the league.
A large crowd gathered and the afternoon started well with the Reserves winning 2-0, finishing the year off on top and winning the league.
However the senior girls did not share in the Reserve’s success, they fought hard but just couldn’t score.
The result was a 0-2 loss.
This result sees the seniors finish runners up for the year.
While the girls were disappointed, their performance over the past year has been truly remarkable, their commitment and good sportsmanship a credit to themselves and an example to all at the club.
Well done girls, lookout 2014.
