Season moves to final stages

THE YVMDFNL netball finals series was played out on the weekend with Division One at Healesville on Saturday followed by Division Two at Woori Yallock on Sunday.
Division One semi finals saw Belgrave, Wandin, Upwey Tecoma and Mt Evelyn clubs with teams in the Grand Finals to be played on 21 September and several others vieing for a Grand Final berth this Sunday.
A-Grade: Belgrave 48 d Upwey Tecoma 44 and Mt Evelyn 43 d Wandin with Upwey and Mt Evelyn to play off on Sunday for a chance to play Belgrave in the Grand Final.
A-Reserve: Wandin 44 d Mt Evelyn 34 and Monbulk d Warburton Millgrove 38 with Mt Evelyn to play Monbulk for a chance against Wandin in the Grand Final.
B-Grade: Mt Evelyn 33 d Wandin 27 and Warburton Millgrove 29 d Olinda Ferny Creek 25. Wandin will play Warburton Millgrove on Sunday for a chance to play Mt Evelyn.
B-Reserve: Upwey Tecoma 42 d Emerald 25 and Olinda Ferny Creek d Mt Evelyn 26 with Emerald and Olinda to play off for a chance against Upwey Tecoma in the Grand Final.
Division Two played at Woori Yallock set up some interesting clashes for next Saturday’s Grand Finals with Seville, Yarra Junction, Healesville, Yea and Yarra Glen clubs all represented.
A-Grade: Yarra Junction 35 d Yarra Glen 34 with Seville to play Yarra Junction in Grand Final.
A-Reserve: Yea 57 d Seville 33 and will play Healesville in the Grand Final.
B Grade: Yarra Glen 22 d Healesville 14 for a chance to play Yea in the Grand Final.
B Reserve: Alexandra 23 d Healesville 22 in the first of the nail-biters for the day at Woori Yallock. Yea and Alexandra to play off in the Grand Final on Saturday.
