Hamper of region’s highlights

WITH the festive season comes family gatherings and summer trips to interesting destinations, but there is an array of experiences just on the doorstep here in the Yarra Ranges.
From driving through the leafy hills of the Dandenong Ranges through to the bustling main streets of Healesville and Warburton, gifts and memorable times are a short distance away.
The Mail has put together a special Christmas hamper to help capture some of the highlights of the Yarra Ranges, which will be up for grabs for one lucky reader and their family!
The winner will be able to take a ride on the Puffing Billy railway in Belgrave and experience the Dandenong Ranges by rail, with two double passes included the hamper.
That’s not the only train adventure on the cards, however, as the hamper also includes a family pass to ride on the Yarra Valley Railway from Healesville station, valid for 12 months.
Two adults and two children will be able to take in the sights of wildlife at Healesville Sanctuary and experience a magic moment getting up close and personal with an Australian animal of choice, subject to availability.
The hamper’s full contents include:
– Four family passes to the Upper Yarra Museum, valued at $10 each.
– A $50 gift voucher to be used at either Healesville’s Memo Hall or the Upper Yarra Arts Centre.
– Two family vouchers for the Marysville Trout Farm for equipment, along with $20 towards the value of caught fish.
– A family pass on the Yarra Valley Railway in Healesville, valid for 12 months.
– Two double passes for the Puffing Billy Railway in Belgrave.
