EMERALD Autoplus are doing it for the locals this Anzac Day.
Autoplus will be donating all profits from their fuel sales to the Emerald RSL to give back to the community.
The money raised from their sales will then be put into a community welfare fund at the RSL.
Manager David Key said they were hoping to raise almost $400 in remembrance of the lives lost at war.
Mr Key has had members of his family fight in World War I.
“I guess having a personal connection to war it has touched me to put back into the community the freedom that we have received,” Mr Key said.
“Family history is always something that needs to be remembered,” he said.
Mr Key said this is the first time the offer had been made, and it would be repeated for Remembrance Day.
