HUNDREDS of people gathered outside the Monbulk RSL to pay their respects at this morning’s Dawn Service.
As police blocked traffic to the main street, those attending spilled out onto the road.
Young and old rugged up as temperatures dropped below three degrees, but the cold couldn’t keep them away.
RSL president Bill Ford led the service and introduced a special treat to the crowd, local Tina Bull singing the New Zealand national anthem.
