Upwey takes on ladder leaders Monbulk to keep its season alive.
The Division 2 last round sees Thornton sitting fifth, one game ahead of Alexandra and Gembrook. Alexandra has the bye so it finishes sixth.
Gembrook takes on Thornton but need a massive win to boost their percentage to take fifth spot.
Netball in Division 1 sees Mount Evelyn and Olinda on the same point sitting, four and five.
A win is a must for both to hold down their spot in the five.
Division 2 looks like the final five is set.
It would take a massive win by Powelltown over Kinglake to boost their percentage and Seville to beat Yarra Junction.

There was just no separating these teams as they went goal for goal, Monbulk’s lead was just three points at the first change with Olinda grabbing the lead at half-time by just one point and by three quarter time that lead remained the same.
The last quarter was a great battle with goals hard to come by, Olinda seemed to have its chances but couldn’t convert whereas Monbulk may have only booted two majors but it was enough to secure it a one point win and secure second spot with finals fast approaching.

The third term was as even as it could be with both teams scoring 2.2 to keep the margin at 10 points and the game in the balance.

Woori lead at all the changes but Warby was always within striking distance and going into the last quarter Woori’s lead was just three goals.
The last quarter was a ripper and Warby did look like they were going to pinch the win but come the final bell scores were all tied up in what was a fitting result to a classic contest.

Wandin 47 d Healesville 29
Wandin won this game reasonably comfortably in the end but not before a really competitive first half where Healesville took it right up to one of the form teams of the competition.
Wandin’s lead was just four goals at half-time and it had a battle on its hands.
Wandin really started to get on top in the second half as it stretched its lead out to nine goals at the last change and then finished the day off well with a 12 goal to three last quarter to win well but certainly had to work hard for nit.
Best
Wandin: Tayissa Coppinger, Kathleen McMahon, Melissa Martinov (28).
Healesville: Chelsea Connell, Caitlyn Jeffress, Michelle Sanders.
Upwey Tecoma 63 d Emerald 23
This game was top of the ladder (Upwey) v bottom of the ladder (Emerald) and the result certainly reflected that.
Upwey dominated from start to finish and even though Emerald did try its hardest Upwey’s form was just far superior because it didn’t have a weakness all over the court and gained yet another victory.

Emerald: Rochelle Appleby, Megan Whiteroad, Lana Whyte.
