INCUMBENT Gembrook MP and Liberal candidate in the upcoming election has apologised for an error in a recent brochure that said the Emerald Secondary College was rebuilt during his tenure.
“A recent brochure went to the community with details of projects completed or underway in the Gembrook Electorate,” Mr Battin said.
“In this flyer, it stated the Emerald Secondary College was re-built, this was an error, and should have referred to the Emerald Primary School.
“I was proud to secure $6 million funding for Emerald Primary School and will work with Emerald Secondary College as part of a re-elected Napthine Government to realise their long-term goals.”
Battin sets record straight
