Three dead in Avonsleigh crash

THREE people have died in a major car crash this evening in Avonsleigh.

According to Victoria Police, a car with four occupants left the road and hit a tree just before 5.30pm on Tuesday 30 June.

Three teenagers, including two girls believed to be passengers in the car and a young man all died at the scene of the crash.

A fourth man is now in hospital with serious injuries.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash, and anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or to submit a report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au.
