THE Ferny Creek Horticultural Society will present their Plant Collectors Sale and Garden Expo on 12-13 March from 10am to 4pm. In the past, expo-goers have enjoyed wandering among the marquees set out on the Linden Lawn, while meeting the nursery people from the Dandenong Ranges and other rural Victorian locations. Jillian Brown from the society (pictured) said many guests enjoyed the wide variety of rare and collectable plants on sale, as well as trees, shrubs, bulbs, perennials and more. Light lunches are available on site at 100 Hilton Road, Sassafras. Funds raised will go towards maintaining the non-profit group’s hall, garden, equipment and machinery.
