Barbecue for great cause

MOUNT Evelyn Community House will be hosting their ‘BBQ For A Cure’ for a second consecutive year on Saturday, 5 March to raise awareness and money for brain cancer research.

All money raised from the day will go towards the Cure Brain Cancer Foundation to help find a cure for a cancer that kills approximately 1200 a year.

Organisers Jo Goodwin, Anna Griffith and Nikki Condello with representatives from Edge Martial Arts, Nerissa Walles and Lauren Griffith displaying some of the beanies and scarves that will be on sale at the barbecue.

The barbecue will be held at the rotunda by the Mount Evelyn library on Wray Crescent from noon onwards, and all are encouraged to buy a sausage or a vegie burger and enjoy the activities offered to help raise money and support those who need it most.
