COLLINGWOOD legend Tony Shaw recently visited the Olinda-Ferny Creek Football Club before the start of the new YVMDFNL season. Shaw entertained the crowd with anecdotes about avoiding Saint’s star Tony Lockett and also revealed how he turned his playing career around after running his first marathon. Olinda-Ferny Creek kicked off the YVMDFNL season with a twilight clash against Warburton last weekend. The A Grade and D Grade netballers unfurled Premiership flags and the senior footballers had their first run under new coach Brendan Donovan.
