EMERALD SES has taken another step towards possessing up-to-date equipment within the unit. Deputy Premier, James Merlino, recently formally handed over a brand new 4×4 dual cab Holden Colarado to the unit. The hand-over represented the culmination of almost two years of fund-raising from the local community, which was topped up through a Victorian Government grant. Emerald Unit Controller, Ben Owen, said the replacement vehicle would be a huge asset. “It is fantastic to finally get our hands on the new vehicle and it’s a pleasure to welcome the Deputy Premier to officiate.” Pictured is James Merlino (holding the keys), with Ben Owen and regional manager, Ray Jasper. 153101_01
